Is it the one who votes or the one who counts the votes who ultimately elects? This is the question!
Simple proportional, proportional representation, enhanced, with a bonus of 50 parliamentary seats, whichever the method may be, the result is the same because the one who controls the whole process also decides on the result.
Where up until 1996 there was a certain competition, Singular Logic later became the company of private interests contracted out by the Simitis government for the counting of the ballots.
For example, in the elections of 2019, the counting of the votes cost the Greek taxpayer around 9,000,000 Euros.
It is said that there was a proposal to use a software created by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for the same purpose and the cost would have been more or less, 3,000,000 Euros.
This money would then be returned to the country to be used for the research programs of the Foundation.
If there was such a proposal, why was it not chosen? Is it because Simitis, a Semite after all, guaranteed the support of Singular Logic which, by the way, is also of Jewish interests? (Not surprising at all).
What is even more strange is that we do not know in which country the company’s mainframe is located to which all the data and the counted votes from the polling stations are funnelled after the polls are closed.
Why is the container where the ballots are collected called a kalpi? (In Greek, Kalpi literally means something that is ‘counterfeit’). Could it be because it is counterfeit producing counterfeit results deeming a ruling prime minister he who has been chosen much earlier by their ‘big boss’ to take their plan for globalisation and a one world government, a one world ruler a step closer? But don’t the various politicians Papandreou, Venizelos (Turkoglou) and others tell us how this governor will be elected and where they will be based and how they will be controlled and by whom?
There was something about Ukraine once, then Israel and later Washington in the USA. I don’t know the exact order of the locations but this has little to no significance.
Let us see this process. From the moment the vote is placed into the ballot box (kalpi), the responsibility solely falls in the hands of the one who controls the keyboard of the main computer and if they want, they can intervene and alter the result since after the counting at the polling station and the sending of the data, no one can intervene and scrutinise.
Furthermore, even the loser of the election, while many times expressing fears of falsification of the results, never asks for the re-counting of the ballot box from the beginning and diligent extraction of the result to compare the two methods.
In this way, we can be certain that no one with a ‘long reach’ can intervene and everything would be done legally, cleanly and transparently.
We have had the case where at 4:45pm, New Democracy was government but then at 5pm, Jeffrey Papandreou of PASOK (The Panhellenic Socialist Movement) assumed governance.
In another instance, we have the case of SYRIZA (The Coalition of the Radical Left) and ANEL (Independent Greeks) who rushed to declare a coalition government before the calculation of a safe percentage of votes, at least, so there was no possibility of changing the result.
Generally speaking, there is a feeling – if not the reality – that someone is deciding who will be Prime Minister at that particular time to advance the plan of globalisation at the behest of the subhuman dark “ruler” in the shadows.
As far as postal voting is concerned, this is where ridiculousness surpassed the entire process with the Post Office companies in many cases being very late in delivering the envelopes with the electoral material to each recipient on time, especially overseas.
I, the writer, have my own experience on this matter.
I do not know if the material was delivered on time by the Ministry to the companies or if the companies could not manage the process due to its volume.
Although the postal vote was established so that mainly the Greeks abroad could participate, still the participation was tragically low.
From 210,000 postal votes, according to the Ministry’s data and not arbitrarily, only 50,000 came from abroad, when we all know that the Greeks abroad, who have the right to vote, are equal if not more in number than those inside Greece.
They also showed us results that New Democracy received 54% of the postal votes when internally, it did not exceed 30% of the total count.
And the collection of files at different addresses without supervision by some authority, calls into question the integrity of the process.
Especially when all formal documents had the logo of Singular Logic on them!
Another Greek paradox that we saw in the last European elections was what was said by several people that there was an irregularity in the number of polling stations (we are talking about more than three hundred polling stations) between the Ministry of the Interior which is responsible for the elections, with that of Singular Logic who assumed control over the count.
If this is true, where were these extra electoral departments discovered or sprung up from, who made them and why?
No explanation was given and we saw no rebuttal on this issue from the supposedly responsible custodians of the institutions.
A simple proposal to implement is the presence of electoral representatives in every electoral department, not necessarily of a political party or a Body that participates in the elections, but of many others so that there is complete transparency since they will all be scrutineers and scrutinised themselves.
In other words, 25,000 – 30,000 people are needed to be able to take shifts throughout the day since the polls are open from 7.00am to 7.00pm in the afternoon.
After the polls are closed and the ballots are counted, each interested party receives the results on a roll of paper and thus the inviolability of the elections is ensured by having them on paper now, tangible with the state seal and the signature of the judicial representative, with an evidential process and certification by order of the people themselves from each electoral division.
Having completed this specific process, then and only then are you sure that any government was elected by the citizens themselves, taking responsibility for the actions that each one of us is responsible for, since it is our duty to participate in public affairs.
Even more so if the entire electoral process was carried out in the transparent manner of e.g., ‘I am him/her and I choose to vote for them’, since ultimately, even in the largest of societies, almost all of us know each other and the political beliefs to each one of us are known.
In this way, we will at least have taken a huge step towards the democratisation of the electoral process. In regards to the establishment of true democracy in its entirety with the responsibility of administering governance and exercising the act of electing and being elected with the active participation of each and every citizen with common affairs, there are other parameters that must be defined and institutionalised so that we can live as humans, in a society centred on the human citizen (politis) themself.
This platform of citizen participation and activation, exists and operates within the local organisations of Ellinon Syneleysis (The Hellenic Assembly). It is the constitution of establishment and operational protocols of all the organisations throughout Greece, which clearly states the way in which the citizen themself can now exercise how they will administer and be administered. Perhaps many will consider what I am about to say as an exaggeration about this Constitution.
