Scandalous decisions are taken every day on indecent topics by the council of the elite government staff of Mr. K Mitsotakis.
All programs for naval cooperating aircraft, firefighting aircraft, helicopters as well as the upgrade of F-16 fighter jets have been directly assigned to private individuals and all this with absolute indignity.
With incredible and yet true accusations, Mr. Nikos Kapiris, president of the workers union in the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI), brought imperative points to light regarding the wrong decisions made as well as state plans without any perspective far from any reality. Damages and malfunctions are cunningly hidden under the carpet so that no scandals arise and all this happens every day in the otherwise well-publicised program of upgrading the F-16 fighter jets signed by the previous government of Syriza.
The defects, time delays of the subsidised contractors which the government has chosen to make its partners, are paid by the hour by the underpaid employees of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry who, with effort and toil, defend our national interests and by orders from above, are required to defend the corporate interests as well, i.e., private interests. When the contractors deviate from their program and while they bear full responsibility for it, they are blindly protected by the government at the expense of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry and the state budget so that the scandalous collaborations of the government of Mr. Mitsotakis are not made public.
In this way, the private company, which coexists in the F-16 parts manufacturing area, comes off clean without any contract. Ultimately, two production lines coexist. One is the Hellenic Aerospace Industry and the other is the contractor and since its work force had delays and defects arose, an order was given from above where the ready gear of the production phase that had been completed earlier in time by the technical staff of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry, waiting for the next production phase, would now be given to the private contractor for final delivery so that it is not exposed….oh my!
And the contractor’s incomplete and problematic gear was burdened over to the staff of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry to fix and move forward, with the result being that both the notoriety and money clauses imposed by the American manufacturer ‘Lockheed Martin’, due to delays, burdened the otherwise consistent Hellenic Aerospace Industry for the sake of the private contractor planted by the government with an incompetent staff who cannot complete the work properly nor deliver it on time. These are the infamous investments glorified by the government and systemic media.
And as rightly pointed out by Mr. Kapiris, if we see this tactic throughout all of the company’s programs where contractors are involved, we will understand the nature and purpose of the orders that are given.
This is how the Greek citizens paid Lockheed Martin 10 billion for 40 overpriced and unarmed F-35 fighters buying them for 215 million each, when the company itself in 2021 stated that their price was below 80 million each.
The spoils and political favours to the private cartels who plunder the wealth of Greece and the Greek minds are well protected by our murderous politicians who have upheld their unworthy trademark .
There would be no problem if a foreign company had the know-how, well-trained staff and consistency in schedules to collaborate in upgrading the Hellenic Aerospace Industry. Certainly, something like this would not be needed if the Hellenic Aerospace Industry itself was administered by a real Greek Government with a national spirit.
Here fellow citizens, we are talking about the absolute worthlessness, collapse and degradation of every critical sector of our state. Nothing is checked, nothing is filtered, Greek citizens are being exploited by mafia opportunists of the cartels who pay off the political puppets.
They take on projects without any technical background so long as they have the right contact from above. The Greek citizens pay the price, millions of euros lent to the so-called investors and work for them by Government decision. Multi-billion armament programs with retrofitted aircraft that are paid top dollar for their modernness but are considered old in the face of new aircraft technologies, simply to line the pockets of the favoured individuals.
But money is scarce when it comes to hospitals, schools, services, insurance coverage and work. Billions of euros appear out of thin air for useless and incompetent managers and investors “in time of need” while the Greek citizens experience the absolute depreciation and the lowest standard of living in the EU.
Greek citizens are paying very dearly for the worthlessness of the political establishment.
It is necessary to revive the Hellenic Value system of the Greeks (the Ellanian Value System). It is necessary for all the positions of the state apparatus and all its services to be filled by people with meritocratic criteria.
Meritocracy means that you deserve to keep your position or rank because you are acknowledged and rewarded for your efforts based on your personal worth, the knowledge you possess, the skills, the talents, and no one, no matter how much money they have, can replace you because you rightfully received it from the collective and because you deserved it.
Only in this way will we be able to have an orderly functioning state that respects its citizens and itself, ensuring the quality of all the services it offers, acting for the collective benefit, limiting errors, shortcomings and mistakes to the maximum extent.
This is the society that must be structured because every person deserves to live in such a society.
This is the Greek State (Ellinon Politeia) that we must establish together.
